WAD Conference Update

I am giving you a conference update: The conference will be located in Brookfield, moving from Delavan. It will be held at Sheraton Brookfield. The room rates will be $113 per night. The conference registration is now open and running. The early bird rate is only $80 for current WAD member only! The registration form will show $100, but there is a process you will need to do in order to receive the $20 discount. The discount is for those who has current active WAD membership. We want to see you there because this year will be unique in terms that we will be partnering with WESP-DHH Outreach and WisRID in bringing you more workshop tracks. There will be education/parent track and interpreting track added. In addition, WisRID will be hosting their annual business meeting at our conference! Lastly, WisRID will also be giving out their annual awards during our awards program at the banquet Saturday night. The partnership is reflected thru our conference logo- community connection. By connecting with various members of signing community- Parents, Families, Educators, Deaf Professionals, Hearing professionals working with deaf, and interpreters, we can show what deaf space looks like. Through this inclusion at the conference, we can show what makes our community strong!
